MARKET instant noodle in Indonesia is indeed tempting. Dependence of the Indonesian people against fast-food noodles is quite large. No wonder that from time to time many new companies glanced instant noodle market.

However, until now Indomie produced by PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk still dominate the market. Dominance is so strong in spite of the shift. If 2002 Indomie controlling around 90% market share of instant noodles, last year dropped to 75%. The remaining 25% beaten any other brand of instant noodle.

Setbacks should be wary of it. Moreover, recently appeared Mie Sedap Mas Utama PT Sayap Mas Utama which is a group of Wings group.

if our analysis Indomie management should increase vigilance, because Mie Sedap doing very aggressive campaign, like the price is under the Indomie,and it can make instant noodle market competition will be very strict,
Indofood should implement strategies Mastering the Present, Pre-empting the Future. This strategy is focus on organic growth, taking advantage of competitive advantage through scale, scope, span, and speed. Additionally, it will run the program "cost efficiency and cost cutting". In addition, still have to continue the segmentation for customers by introducing products with "higher prices and higher margins".
